SPORT AT MCE

Sport plays an essential role in the education of the whole person, developing the body, mind and spirit. Through sport the students learn to set goals, create strategies, work as a team, and maintain dedication and stamina over an extended period of time. These are vital skills for success in life, not just on the sporting field. Sport also provides a unique opportunity for boys to experience the joys of winning and the invaluable lessons of defeat.
Marist College Eastwood offers a variety of sports to its students. These consist of internal school sport and competitive MCS sport. Marist College Eastwood is a foundation member of the Metropolitan Catholic Schools Association (MCS), which is undoubtedly one of the strongest schoolboy competitions in Australia.
Marist College Eastwood expects students to exemplify good sportsmanship, to be involved, and to enjoy themselves
